 Out for a stroll.....

PostSubject: Out for a stroll.....   Thu Nov 07, 2013 9:24 am

It appeared to be a safe time to leave the palace gates for once since these undead creatures arrived. Dressed in fine elven silk of white and her everyday jewels that could never come off of her, Ariel headed towards the markets. Naturally she was allowed to have her daggers anytime she left the palace so she kept them upon her hips. Her long red hair shined in the light but so did her fair skin very slightly. It was hardly noticeable unless you were very close to her. As the girl placed her cloak over her garments she took notice that she was pretty much alone for the moment. A soft smile crossed her lips as she picked up a basket and walked out of the palace. Hardly did she notice that it looked dreary outside. Today she was going to just enjoy her little bit of freedom. Ariel loved having flowers in her hair, it reminded her of the days she could roam freely and go to the mountains without a care in the world. As of lately though this elven maiden could not always go outside. It was not because she was a prisoner, but all these undead would surely make her a target if they realized what she was. Thankfully they had not noticed that yet so she took the chance of her freedom. Soft humming escaped her lips as she strolled through the market. When she passed others they would glance to her and give a gentle smile. As she reached the center of the market she took notice of a beautiful gem that caught her eye. It was not like one she saw before though. The man spoke to her and explained it was filled with wonders and came from the mountains long ago. "How did you come across it if it is truly that old?" She had asked him Of course he let the question slip his mind as he distracted her with some fine jewelry. After a good twenty minutes Ariel decided to move forward through the market and maybe come back to the gem later on. Just as she turned the corner there was a loud crashing sound and it caused her to jump sideways. A young child screamed from behind before she turned to look and realized she had bumped into someone. "Please forgive me. I did not mean to nearly knock you over."

The gentleman she had ran into simply smiled and made sure she was alright. Though he had not spoken a word she smiled in return. Ariel moved forward through the market. After about an hour of roaming she decided it might be best to head back home so she was not missed. Suddenly she stopped in her tracks and glanced towards the palace she stood there for quite some time before she suddenly disappeared from the market.
